Project overview
This private villa in Australia is a contemporary residential project designed for Mr. John Micheal, with a total area of 600 m². The design is based on architectural reduction, where simplicity, clarity, and proportion define the overall character of the house. Through sweeping cantilevered planes, a monochromatic palette, and a strong geometric presence, the villa creates a calm sanctuary that feels both refined and sculptural.
Design approach
The design approach focuses on minimalism, clean architectural lines, and the controlled use of light. White plaster volumes are shaped into sharp, cantilevered forms, while recessed linear lighting emphasizes the edges of the structure and transforms the villa into a sculptural light box at night. The seamless infinity pool extends the visual language of the house, reflecting its geometry and blurring the boundary between architecture and the natural horizon.
