Project overview
This private villa in Saudi Arabia is a contemporary residential project designed for Mr. Mohamed Talal, with a total area of 400 m². The project presents a refined interpretation of traditional Saudi architecture, blending cultural identity with modern luxury and functional living. Through clean architectural volumes, warm timber elements, and desert-inspired landscaping, the villa creates a balanced residential experience where heritage, privacy, and contemporary elegance come together.
Design approach
The design approach is rooted in a modern Najdi-inspired language, where traditional principles are reimagined through minimalist forms and refined material expression. The exterior uses rhythmic massing and integrated wooden pergolas to provide shade, privacy, and cultural depth, while the interior shifts toward sculptural organic minimalism. Soft undulating wall panels, marble, stone, and layered textures create a calm atmosphere inspired by desert dunes, giving the villa a sophisticated and sensory architectural character.
